Question
Dear Mr. Salier,
I'm filling out a blank for a scholarship and I have this field "personal interests". I must fill in only one word, but I don't know it exactly. So, this is what I want to summarize. I'm interested in almost everything, that is related to the human - healthy lifestyle, the human brain, the behavior, psychology, any processes in the human body, genetics. My question is, whether there is a single word, that summatizes all this stuff and that, generally speaking, describes a very strong interest in the human. Thank you in advance.

Answer
Alexander,

The word you seek is:  "Anthropology"

Anthropology is quite litterally the "study of Man"

It looks at all of Man's occupations as well as himself/hershef.  So it covers Economics, Ethnology, Medicine, Forensics, Music, Archaeology and Psychology among many others.
