QUESTION: I recently bought an antique wooden wall clock with a clock face logo of an "S"
intertwined with a "T" that is made to look like a circle surrounding the S. I
was told it was a Singer clock, but can find no reference to Singer clocks at all
on line. Any suggestions as to maker? Thanks, Bill IMAGE: wooden pendulum wall clock face
ANSWER: no- the mechanism itself may have more markings
I will inquire further and advise if I get any info.

QUESTION: Thanks! I followed a hunch, and discovered that it is a Seth Thomas with a
very distinctive wooden-shafted pendulum. Thanks again, Bill
ANSWER: please explain your hunch and how you proved it out- thanks!

QUESTION: googled ST logo and TS logo through images. Spotted a dead ringer for the
pendulum (see photo of mine). Still exploring, but satisfied that I am on the
right track. Thanks again. If you would like to browse the pictures, you can
go to my public Picasa album. http://picasaweb.google.com/wbmcleod/WoodenWallClock#
Thanks again, Bill
Answer Nice photos- thanks- will continue to try to get you an answer- But it is NOT Seth Thomas, sorry. Made in China I am guessing - but will advise.
I got this response from the net: This logo is actually a combined S and T and was used by two companies—Sato's Clock and Tachimoto Clock. The relationship between two companies is unclear.
This is the closest match of your logo that I have seen.
