Subject: value of chelsea ship's clock

Question
i have inherited a brass chelsea ship's clock that was actually removed from a ship sometime in the 1940's.  In good running order what would the value be?

Answer
Condition and how rare a clock is determine the value of a clock.
Scratches on the case or dial , the over all condition of the movement . These things are taken into consideration by a potential buyer. Without seeing a clock its very hard to determine a value.
The best thing to do is to go online and check out Chelsea clocks. There are many sites that list them. Find a comparable clock to yours and proceed from there.
