Question
I have a mantel clock made by M.Morse in Plymouth CT. Do you have any information about this person.

Answer
Miles Morse in Plymouth Hollow (west side of Naugatuck river in same section  as the Seth Thomas factory, a section of the town of Plymouth until 1865 when the state legislature chaged it to Thomaston)

He was making clocks from 1846-1855 refered by some as "low priced brass clocks"  Factory burned in 1855
