Antique Clocks/Waterbury Parlor Clock

Question
Hello; I just purchased this Waterbury Parlor clock; "Huntley" model. I wound both the clock mechanism and chime. It chimes the 1/2 hour at "12" and the hourly chime at the "6" and it chimes 8 times when it indicates 3:00 o'clock. I'm very confused. How might I re-calibrate this wonderful old clock? Thank you for your attention. Sincerely, Dave

Answer
Hi David, you have an easy fix, there should be a small wire hanging down from the movement on the left side  if so, just push up and release  the wire, this will cause the to chime, do this until the correct hour has chimed. If you can't find the wire then just move the hour hand to the hour just chimed.Good luck David M
