Question
My clock stopped chiming even though it still is keeping perfect time. How can I get the chimes to resume chiming?

Answer
I would guess that it probably needs a good cleaning.  That usually does the trick.  There should be a clock repair person in your area that can do the job.  You may have to remove the movement or the repair person can do the whole job but it will cost a lot more.

Remember, the heavyest weight usually goes on the far right chain as you face the clock.  If it is not there, place it there and see if it chimes.  If not, it will require cleaning.
