Antique Clocks/chimes reversed on 1920's Seth Thomas

Question
I have a 1920's Seth Thomas mantle clock that keeps good time and the chimes work. Unfortunately the hour chimes on the half hour and the half hour chimes on the hour.  How do I sync them?  Thanks!

Answer
Starting with the minute hand sometime after the hour, turn it clockwise past the half hour and up to the next hour and let it strike. You do not want it to strike on the half hour as you push the hand past it. (If it starts to strike on the half, just ignore it and keep going to the hour.) It should now be in synch. If it is striking the wrong hour, push the hour hand to agree with the strike. Then set as usual.
