Antique Clocks/antique mantle clock

My clock, was my great aunts.  On the back of the case it says--Tribune

Wm L. Gilbert Clock Co
Winstead, CT. USA

My grandfather gave it to me.  He very carefully oiled it weekely with a feather in a bottle of kerosene.  That was my job when he lived with us in the 1940's.

I do not see a question here but I will give you some advise concerning the maintenance of the clock.  Do not use kerosene on the clock.  A clock only needs to be oiled once every 10 years or so with a special clock oil.  The movement should be removed to oil the bushings on the back plate.  Oil only the bushings on front and back plates.

If you have a question, please ask.  Thank you.
