Antique Clocks/1825 Japy Freres Annees clock

I remember seeing this clock in my grandmother's house as a child, now I'm 81 and getting it back together. The movement works, and I'm gtting the castings cleaned and trying to fine the metric screws to assemble the cast face body, the well/wash-pot/ goose casting and the wash woman casting back together. The sheet metal back that holds the movement to the face?base casting,is stamped "P H Mourey. The back of the movement is stamped "MIOLLES DOR", JAPY FRERES ANNEES, "1825 27 34394449".
Looking at antique french clock sites, I don't find one like it It has a wooden base to sit on. When I get your reply, with your email address on it, I'll send you a picture. The brass/gilded surface coat is mostly gone, should I have it re-sprayed?  Thanks, Art Mashburn

The (second) gold medal stamp was use by J.F. from ca. 1850 to 1858, according
to Nicolas M. Thorpe.
The movements stamped with the first Med. d'Or had silk suspensions.

photo will not help me- not that knowledgable about French clocks- seeming to have put the movements into cases made by others anyway

I would not have it re-sprayed

Comment - On a scale of 1-10, I would give Mr. Saunders a 15 on each category. His responses were clear, addressed my questions and concerns in a way that even I could understand, and even sent a picture. He explained what I had and how to resolve the issue. I was amazed at how quickly he replied to each on my e mails. He shouldn't get a gold star, he should get a whole box of them!!! Thank you Mr. Saunders, I will keep you on my e-mail "speed dial". Comment - Ken answered my question regarding how to adjust the proper striking of the hammers on my Grandfather clock within a few minutes of my sending the question to him.
