Antique Clocks/bulova movements

I have a never used inside works to a Bulova 340-020.
the label  reads 73 two121jewels. Made in West Germany Unadjusted.

Do you have any info on this?  Value?

I could find no reference to a Bulova 340-020 however, Hermle builds and markets a 340-020 to anyone who would like to sell it and/or build a case for it. These are available from Merritts ( for $195.00.

The hermle movement is a westminster chime unit. It uses a hair spring and balance wheel and therefore does not require a pendulum. The chime hangers hang below the movement. It measures 6" high and 5" wide.

I can not think of any questions I cannot answer in regard to repairing antique clocks or radios. However, I am sure there are a few I have not heard and may not be able to answer. If I cannot, I will say so. I have been repairing them since I was a young child.

My experience includes repairing CooKoo clocks, Westminsters, BimBam, almost all antique clocks. I do a bit of repair on battery clocks where the value is sufficient to warrant working on them. I also repair antique (tube type) radios - all makes.
