Antique Clocks/no gong

Question
I have a gingerbread clock it does not gong the striker swings but seems to far away from the spring it thuds when it hits the round bell shaped middle piece, also time is too fast.

Answer
These are both very easy problems to solve.  To adjust the striker you will have to use a pliers and bend the rod closer to the gong.  The time is set using the screw adjustment on the bottom of the pendulum.  Looking at the bottom of the pendulum turn the screw counter-clockwise and it will drop the pendulum lower and the clock will run slower.
