Question
A friend of mine moved and she packed away the weights, pendulum and the part that connects the pendulum to the mechanism. Well we can't find the connecter. I've searched the web and can't find any info on it. I was wondering if you know of any place I can obtain one. The clock is a Howard Miller Grand Father clock model 4899. Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
That is a standard part that is used on a lot of different grandfather movements.  You should be able to order the parts you need from Timesavers.com  There should be a picture of what you need there as well.
