I'm trying to determine the manufacturer and year of my mothers rocking chair when she was a child.  Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Matt,

Trying to determine  the maker of your chair is somewhat difficult. There were
countless number of small furniture factories back in the late nineteenth century,
about 1890, which is where I date your Oak Rocking Chair.

Do to it's present condition I would place a value of about $125.-$150 on it.

Good luck and best wishes.
