I would like to know if you can tell the type of wood and the approximate value of the waterfall vanity I have.  I don't know anything about its history.

Thanks!

Answer
wood is mahogany veneer that has been bleached or it is Indian mahogany veneer.

piece  was made in the 1930s and would have a retail price of 450 in a normal shop.

the decoration between the drawers and on the glove boxes is painted on.

wax only, no oils.  briwax is good as is johnsons floor paste wax.  both are silicone free.

nice item.  stool??
