Could you tell me approx. how old this piece is?  What kind of wood?  Who may have possible made it?  And lastly, in your expert opinion, what would you value this piece?  Thank you in advance.

Answer
1920s chest of drawers in sweet gum wood stained at the factory to a walnut color.
As to maker.  There were 5000 manufacturers in operation so without a label no one can tell you which manufactured this.  I see these priced at 250-275 in shops.

what is the tall piece in the background??
