I found this table on the side of the road. I love it! My questions are:, how old, its worth, and is it OK to paint for my personal use?

Answer
This is an adapted version of the early working dough boxes.  Made around 1930-50s as an end table.

painting will not hurt but I would put a coat of clear something under the paint in case you ever want to remove your paint.

after finishing or painting it would retail in a store at 200 depending on how well you did the work.

thanks
hope this is what you needed.
