Question
I have a silver plated Buescher True tone trombone with a Pat.Oct.29.1907. This is all the info I have on it. I would like to know more about it but have exhausted the power of the internet trying to find anything. Whatever details or information you have would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
The patent was for what Buescher marketed as the "Split-No-Tone" bell and essential was a way to manufacture a thicker bell.

And your horn was built to play at modern pitch. If you can find the serial number on it, you can get a build date from:  http://www.musictrader.com/buescher.html

Expertise

Please note: My area is BRASS instruments, not other wind, string or percussion instruments. I will provide information on antique, obscure and out of production BRASS instruments. 1) Please don't ask for evaluations, I'll not provide them on this site. 2) I am often asked very similar questions, so I'd invite you to first check on Horn-u-Copia.net. Much of the information I have garnered about this topic, I have posted on this WEB site.

Experience

I perform in several historical bands, have informally researched the area, repair brass instruments, and operate a Forum dedicated to the topic at http://horn-u-copia.net
