Antique Musical Instruments/Revere Stradolin trombone

Question
I have a trombone marked Revere Stradolin Elkhart Indiana.  Do you know who manufactured these? I can only find info on Revere from England. I assume it's a student line from one of the manufactures in IN, but can find no info on it.

Answer
I have no definitive information on the Stradolin instruments, but my suspicion is that they were sold by the Humeniuk Bros of New York City.

Pawlo Humeniuk was a Ukrainian immigrant who built musical instruments in New York, primarily violins.

The horns were not made by Stradolin, but were rather made by some unknown maker and sold by Stradolin.

Expertise

Please note: My area is BRASS instruments, not other wind, string or percussion instruments. I will provide information on antique, obscure and out of production BRASS instruments. 1) Please don't ask for evaluations, I'll not provide them on this site. 2) I am often asked very similar questions, so I'd invite you to first check on Horn-u-Copia.net. Much of the information I have garnered about this topic, I have posted on this WEB site.

Experience

I perform in several historical bands, have informally researched the area, repair brass instruments, and operate a Forum dedicated to the topic at http://horn-u-copia.net
