Antique Musical Instruments/Very Old french horn

Question
I have acquired a antique Frank Holton Chicago French Horn Pics enclosed. From my research on your web sight and others it looks like the manufacturing date is between 1904-1905 (103-104 years old) the ser # is 895. If you might be interested in purchasing this or could let me know how much I should ask for it that would be a great help.

Thank You,

Answer
I don't do evaluations on this site, and I don't have any need for another French horn, but if you are planning on selling it, taking good pictures of it and putting it on ebay would be a good bet. The price will naturally raise to a fair price for it.

Expertise

Please note: My area is BRASS instruments, not other wind, string or percussion instruments. I will provide information on antique, obscure and out of production BRASS instruments. 1) Please don't ask for evaluations, I'll not provide them on this site. 2) I am often asked very similar questions, so I'd invite you to first check on Horn-u-Copia.net. Much of the information I have garnered about this topic, I have posted on this WEB site.

Experience

I perform in several historical bands, have informally researched the area, repair brass instruments, and operate a Forum dedicated to the topic at http://horn-u-copia.net
