Question I have a Trumpet that my mother bought in 1950 - 1953, it said on the bell "custom built, atWurlitzer, Exclusively. It has a serial number of 173121. I am having it restored to playing condition. Can you possibly tell me the company that may have made the Trumpet for Wurlitzer, and the year that it was made ?
Thanks,
Joe
Answer Joe,
I'm assuming this horn is a lot older than the 1950's. Wurlitzer imported horns for a while and eventually had horns made by Conn. The Conn models that were made for Wurlitzer included: 14B, 15B, 42B, 43B, and 68B.
