Question
QUESTION: I just picked up a Carl Fischer New York Piano, it is an upright black in color it is in great shape. There is a serial number 96480 on it and the people we got it from stated that it was the original piano from the Proctor school. I am wanting  to learn the history, the age of the piano and about what it is worth. Can you help me. I am also looking for a bench for it. Any ideas???

ANSWER: Hi,
Thank you for using allexperts.  It is built in 1890.  Its probably worth around $500. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
