Question We were given a Kimball, Chicago Illinois upright piano and we wanted to find out its age and value. It was patented September 24, 1895 #42961. It has great detail in the legs and decoration on the front. It has three stickers on the inside with a seal and two seperate individuals. The only larger sticker that I can read perfectly clearly says Worlds Columbian Exposition (details of the award) The Only Manufacturer Thus Honored. It does have some chips in it and a a few of the ivory tops are missing.
Answer Hi,
Thank you for using allexperts. The piano was built in 1896. Its worth around $500. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
