Question
There is an old upright piano which my family has owned and neglected for decades. It has recently become mine. I was wondering if it is worth anything at all. The serial number is 26874. Your answer may determine its fate. Thank you for your time.

Answer
Dear Gene,
Thank you for using allexperts.  Your piano is worth around $300.  It was built around 1895.  My recommendation would be that you try to sell it privately.  Here are several websites you could try selling it on:

http://www.pianomart.com
http://www.ebay.com
http://www.pianoworld.com/exchange.htm
http://www.craigslist.org

Also, if you need any piano information, check out our piano information page at - http://www.lindebladpiano.com/piano_info.htm

Sincerely,
Todd Lindeblad
