Antique Musical Instruments/Ivers & Pond upright piano

Question

Ivers & Pond Upright
I am trying to determine the value of my childhood piano, an Ivers & Pond upright, that was bought as a restored piano in 1970 or so. It hasn't been used for 30 years but is in immaculate condition. The serial number is #77463 and the plate also says "Ivers & Pond Piano Co." and "Boston". The exterior is a dark stained wood - mahogany perhaps - and is in very good/excellent shape.

Answer
Hi,

Thank you for using allexperts.

Your piano was originally manufactured in 1929, the middle of the golden age of pianos. We would estimate the value of this piano at around $1,000. A very, very fine instrument.
