Question
I have an old Kimball spinet # 560228..

I was wondering when it was built.

Approx value and the best way to get it re-stored.

It is in good working order.

Answer
Hi,

Thank you for using allexperts.

Your piano was manufactured in 1958.  In our current economic and musical climate, we estimate the value of your piano to be at around $500. I would not be able to suggest restoring the piano unless it has a strong sentimental value. The money invested into the piano would probably not be recouped in any sale down the road.

For much less then a restoration of the Kimball, you would purchase a fully refurbished Steinway upright from us (or any other dealer). http://www.lindebladpiano.com/gallery.asp?cat=Uprights
