Hi I played for many years a 1010 wooden pair butdue to the weight problem play a ebonite hawkes & sons which I think has a small bore ( I use 926 m/p,s or Vandoren ) can one get 10 10 ebonite clarinet,s
as I still have some 1010 m/p which I enjoyed playing as they were much more flexiable  Many thanks  Darryl Stellenbosch University 2

Hello Darryl, sorry for the delay.

Yes you can get ebonite 1010s, however they are very very rare.

I would suggest keeping an eye on ebay or contacting dealers like Alex Allen at Clarinets Direct http://www.clarinetsdirect.biz he can find anything you like.

The best ebonite 1010s in my opinion are the pre war vintage which would date much closer to your Hawkes, either the 1010 or London and Paris models would work.
