Question
I am a french piano tuner, I've seen today a half-grand Broadwood & sons piano number 1889 at a customer's. I'd like to know how old it is and how much it could be estimated. Many pieces are original as pins but bass strings had been changed. The action and furniture are in good global state. Thank you. www.pianoamovoix.fr

Answer
Dear Eric,
Thank you for using allexperts. Do you have photos of the piano that you could email me - contact@lindebladpiano.com.  Also, the serial number will help me tell you when it was built. We have a diagram that you can view at the following link:  http://www.lindebladpiano.com/piano_Serial_Number.html

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,
Todd Lindeblad
