Question
QUESTION: A local used piano dealer is going out of business (after 25 yrs.).  He has a Knabe console, built in the 1970s, designer cabinet, walnut w/bench.  Asking $1750.00.  Is this a good price?  We will be buying it off the internet, as we are unable to visit/play in person.  Thank you.

ANSWER: Hi Linda,
Thank you for using allexperts. It sounds reasonable. You can try offering him $1,500 and see what he says.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,
Todd Lindeblad

QUESTION: This past weekend, we found a new Falcone console w/bench for $1800.00 w/10 year warranty.  Don't know anything about Falcone.  It sounded good.  Any thoughts on which would be a better choice?  Is the age of the Knabe an issue?  With research, we figured it was made while Aeolian owned the name, and haven't heard good things about them.  We also heard that the Falcone is not American made, but rather assembled in China with Japanese parts.  Please help...we want a quality instrument within our budget.  Thank you.

Answer
Dear Linda,
I do not know too much about Falcone so I'd have to recommend the Knabe. You may want to try reaching out to some other people. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,
Todd Lindeblad
