Antique Musical Instruments/Martin Superlative trumpet

Question
I have a martin Superlative Dansant Model trumpet from the 1920s. What is the quality of this model of trumpet? I've tried to research it and found little, is it rare? It also has a few dents and bends, should i get it repaired?

Answer
It was a professional level instrument.  As far as getting it repaired, it really depends on what you plan to do with it.  If you plan to sell it, you probably won't increase the selling price by as much as you put into repairs.  I'd recommend that you sell it as is.  If you plan on playing it, then getting it repaired makes good sense.
