Antique Musical Instruments/Antique Schumann Baby Grand Piano

Question

my piano
I have an antique Schumann baby grand piano (photo attached).  First, I was wondering where to find the serial number.  Is it on the sound board?  I've looked everywhere else and haven't been able to find it.  Before it was refinished it had markings on the inside that about an exposition, I think somewhere in the northwest U.S., and with a date of 1905, 1906, or 1908.  I believe that all of the keys are still ivory.  About 15 years ago, it was appraised with an auction value of $13K, and I was wondering what I could expect to get for it in this economy.  Thanks.

Answer
Hi,
Thank you for using allexperts.  This diagram may help you locate it - http://www.lindebladpiano.com/piano_Serial_Number.html Since the economy is in a recession, the piano may be worth around $5,000 - $6,000.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
