Question

I own an Ivers and Pond Upright Piano that was bought for me when I was 8 years old. i am now 60.
It is definitely vintage. The seriel number on it is 87039. No keys sitck, inside, besides tunings is in great condition. Wood has been sun damaged.

Does this pay to restore? How much is it worth if I sell it? Who buys these pianos?

Answer
Hi Susan,
Thank you for using allexperts.  Ivers & Pond is one of the finest pianos ever built and definitely worth restoring.  It was built in 1957.  You could try to sell it on:

http://www.pianomart.com
http://www.ebay.com
http://www.pianoworld.com/exchange.htm
http://www.craigslist.org

It is worth around $500.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Sincerely,
