Antique Musical Instruments/Wurlitzer organ

Question
I have a Wurlitzer organ, model 4800, serial #249933.  Recently, it started to "smell hot" (actually smoked) so we unplugged it.  Everything in the organ is circuited, there is nothing to pull out and change parts.  I do not have the circuit diagram.  I am wondering if i should just put it out on the curb, or if there is a museum or place for it.  I understand that when it was new, there were nine of these organs in the Vatican.

Answer
Hi,

Thank you for using allexperts.

My recommendation would be that you try to sell it privately.  Here are several websites you could try selling it on:

http://www.pianomart.com
http://www.ebay.com
http://www.pianoworld.com/exchange.htm
http://www.craigslist.org

Also, if you need any piano information, check out our piano information page at - http://www.lindebladpiano.com/piano_info.htm
