Question
QUESTION: Hello Todd, I just "inherited" a Hallet & Davis baby with the serial # 22889 and the # 3 below this number. Could not bear having it sent to the dump! It is medium brown color. Don't know where to go to find info and just found your site. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks for your time.

QUESTION: According to the serial # this specific piano was made in 1875 or this is when the company started? I am looking to find out how old this piano is with the serial # I provided. Is it worth restoring and if so, I would be interested in your services. Please see second picture. Thanks
AnswerHi,
Thank you for using allexperts.
The piano was manufactured then, the company began in 1850. Is there any sentimental value in the piano? What's the story of it?
Sincerely,
