Antique Musical Instruments/Is is worth it?

Question
Hi,

Few years ago I bought through a friend an upright piano. It says Verde (French name with accent on the last 'e'). Serial number is 44440.
I have been trying to find out more about this piano without success. The label on the action systems reads CH. Gehrling which I understand is pretty old. The damper felt (sittting above the hammer) is attached to a wippen-type and connected via a metal rod to the actual Wippen.
The instrument needs some work. I wonder if it is worth spending money on it.
Thanks in advanced.

Answer
Hi,

Thank you for using allexperts.

I am afraid I do not have any information available of this piano.

Sincerely,
