Question

Schumann
I have just been given a Schumann Grand Cabinet Piano.  It
was my Great Great Grandmothers.  I was just trying to
figure out how old it is.  On the board on the inside it say
est Chicago 1847.  It also has a serial # of 20300.  It has
a bust of I am assuming Schumann.  The other thing I found
interesting as I was transporting it was how was this
transported from Chicago to middle of nowhere Missouri.  I
was assuming train and then horse and buggy to the farm??  
Also how much would something like this have likely cost
during this time period.  Attached is a pic thanks.  Anyway
anything you can help answer is great thanks for the help.

Your piano was manufactured in 1910. Exact price back than I am not sure of but now it's probably worth around $500. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.
