Question
i am looking for information on a robert fleming jr. if you know of a way for me to find this please feel free to email me the information or the websites. thanks alot.

Answer
Hi,

From what I have found, Robert Flemming Jr. was born in Mississippi the year 1857. He invented the guitar on March, 3rd 1886. He was an African American.

However, He must have invented a certain type of guitar because I have also read by quite a few people that he had nothing to do with inventing anything. Maybe he refined the Guitar.

The problem I see with him inventing the guitar is there was guitar music before 1886?
I honestly am just as confused as you might be.
