Question
I have an old clarinet made my Windsor of Elkhart Ind. It is in need of much repair. The serial number is 59717. Can you tell me the approximate. age and value. So I can determine if it is worth fixing. I see you can buy new student brands for a couple of hundred dollars. Thank you in advance.

If I am correct this is a Clarinet made by Buescher, under the name windsor.
I can't find anything about the age, if you send a picture I might be able to do better.
The is what someone will want to pay for it.
If it is a family heirloom then you might consider a restoration.
If it's just a yard sale find then it's not worth it.
What are you looking to do, find a horn to play with?
Or find an antique?
