Antique Musical Instruments/Anitque Coronet

Question
Recently while perusing an antique store, I found a coronet, that was silver plated and had inscribed Henry (I forget the last name), and below it Paris.  While it was in a state of mild disrepair, I know that I can repair it myself.  I am wondering if anyone is familiar with this coronet, and whether or not it is worth the money to buy and repair it.

Answer
Well, there were several Henry's in the musical world.  Marchand comes to mind as a possibility.  If that is the instrument, they were an import and not worth a lot now.  But if you are planning on experimenting with repairing yourself, then it may be a worth project.

Expertise

Please note: My area is BRASS instruments, not other wind, string or percussion instruments. I will provide information on antique, obscure and out of production BRASS instruments. 1) Please don't ask for evaluations, I'll not provide them on this site. 2) I am often asked very similar questions, so I'd invite you to first check on Horn-u-Copia.net. Much of the information I have garnered about this topic, I have posted on this WEB site.

Experience

I perform in several historical bands, have informally researched the area, repair brass instruments, and operate a Forum dedicated to the topic at http://horn-u-copia.net
