Question
9-30-06 I E-MAILED A QUESTION ON AMERICAN TRUMPET MANUFACTURED BY HARRY PEDLER & SON. REC'ED AN E-MAIL BACK TO LOOK ON THIS SITE AND THE ANSWER WILL BE UP FOR 3 DAYS.
PROBLEM: GOT TO THE SITE NOW WHERE DO I GO FOR THE ANSWER TO THE QUESTION I INITIALLY ASKED?
THANK YOU

Answer
I'm not following what you are saying.

OK, I looked up your original question.  IF it has a serial number on it, it would probably be on the second valve casing.

Since no dated serial number lists are known to exist for the Pedler instruments, you are probably not going to be able to determine when it was manufactured.

Expertise

Please note: My area is BRASS instruments, not other wind, string or percussion instruments. I will provide information on antique, obscure and out of production BRASS instruments. 1) Please don't ask for evaluations, I'll not provide them on this site. 2) I am often asked very similar questions, so I'd invite you to first check on Horn-u-Copia.net. Much of the information I have garnered about this topic, I have posted on this WEB site.

Experience

I perform in several historical bands, have informally researched the area, repair brass instruments, and operate a Forum dedicated to the topic at http://horn-u-copia.net
