Hi! ... I recently listed on ebay an old Ludwig and Ludwig drum, item number 290008991799, please take a look.  I got such a tremendous response from this listing, I was wondering what the heck I had; it appears to be a very early Ludwig drum?  Thanks for your expertise! - Janet

I can't say that I know much about drums. And, it isn't a rope tension drum that do seem to draw interest.  So, I can only surmise that it is the brand name on it that drew the interest.  But, as I'm sure you are already aware, if you get a bunch of interest on eBay, you can be pretty assured that you are getting a fair price.
