Question
I was given a Buescher Alto Sax as a gift ... serial #170100 ... just wondering if it comes with any history ... would appreciate anything anyone can tell me about this particular horn.

This horn dates to 1924. Some consider Buescher to be be best saxophones made. And, this one was made in their top years. Though a lot of years have passed, and new technology has been applied to saxophones, nevertheless, in good condition, yours should be a nice playing instrument.
