Dont know i you can help me but would you know the name of an instrument that you do not have to be in contact with to play it sorry trivia question.

Well, I don't know that I would consider it an antique instrument, and I don't know its name.
BUT, the only instrument I can think of where you do not not need to be in contact was an electronic machine that developed a sound that varied in pitch when a person put a hand between two terminals. As the person moved closer or further from one of the terminals the pitch would raise or lower.
Sorry I don't have a more complete answer.
