Question
I have an old safe, about 800 lbs, on casters, stamped Gary Safe Company, Buffalo, N.Y. I remember it in a meat market in the early 60s. Is there a way to tell the age and value?

If you look really closely it will probably say CARY not Gary. The Cary safe company was in business from the late 1800's to the early 1900's
Without seeing any photo's I can't give you a better estimate on the age or value.
If you want more detail please send me photo's of the exterior & interior. I also need detail photo's of the dial, handle, hinges, casters, art work, lock work, interior cabinetry and any interior locks.
If you need a written apprasial of the safe we can supply you with one but we have an administrative fee, and the assessment goes into much more detail.
