Question
I just got an old safe on steel wheels with the name Sabath Desk Co Chicago, Illinois painted on the door. It is 21 inches high without wheels and 17 and a half inches deep and 16 inches wide. I have the combo and it works well. It has a steel door inside with a lock which I do not have a key. Can you tell me any information about this safe? I plan to restore it as it is in great shape. I have taken a few pictures and can send these as well. Thank you.

Sabath Desk Co, was probably the original owners, either that or they sold safes manufactured by someone else (kind of like buying a safe from walmart).  They were not a safe manufacture.

I would need to see the pictures of the safe to determine exactly what you have.  Photo's should include full exterior/interior, and detail pics of the lock, dial, handle, wheels, hinges, artwork, cabinetry, bolt work, and any other details you think are special.
