If you are interested in further detailed about the Hall's Safe & Lock Co., that information can be provided.  It was my great-great grandfather who formed the company in Cincinnati and won numerous awards around the world for his patents on fire-proof safes and time-lock systems.  You might be interested in knowing that a number of well known artists of the day painted illustrations on the safes while studing art in Cincinnati.  Among these artists are Henry Farny and John Hauser.

Thanks for your response, I am interested in the history of your Great-Great grandfathers safes and Your Great Grand uncles as well.  I have basic history and it would be nice to fill in some details.

I also have Hall safe and was wondering about it's worth and a bit of history on the Family since I am a Hall myself. I could be found  at s b hall at m s n . c o m if some one wants to share any info. I know there is a John and a Richard in my line back always. I am parting with the safe so if anyone is interested make me an offer if it is proper here on this site. Thanks
