Question
Mr. Terry,

I am looking for a company that specializes in moving safes in the Columbia, SC area.  The safe needs to be delivered to Asheville, NC.  

The only information I can tell you is that it is approximately 4 feet tall and 2-2.5 feet wide.  It has 4 wheels (Steel?), combination lock, and a short lock/unlock arm.  My guess is it ways at least 1,200 lbs considering it broke a furniture dolly that had a 1,000 lb capacity, and also straightened out the refrigerator dolly (with straps) that had a 800 lb max.  

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with too many safe companies in North or South Caroline Area.  Check your yellow pages under safes & vaults or you might try one of the following:

If you can't find any, you might try a furniture moving company.  Just make sure you tell them the safe is between 1200-1500 lbs so that they can bring the right equipment, or at least turn down the job before they drive to your house.
