Question
Any idea where I can obtain hinge finials (acorns) for a diebold safe?  Thread size appears to be about 5/8x12?  Thanks, Jerry

Jerry,

There are no "sources" for replacement acorns.  You have a couple of choices -
first, you can send me a sample and I can see what I have available (these are used, and not necessarily in multiples).
Second, I can have my machinist fabricate new ones for you.  We have several choices for material, including polished brass, Nickle plated, or polished stainless steel.  Depending on the size, intricacies and material - cost may vary between $75-$135 per acorn.
Third, you can have your own machinist make them for you - you might save a few bucks.
