Hi Andy, I have been searching for pictures of safes from the safe cabinet company before 1909, and I can't seem to locate any before 1913 or 1915.  I have advertisements, news letters ect. But no pics before 1909. I read about Katie's safe (Mar 09)and wondered if you would be able to give her my e-mail address For pics? She's my only lead. Thank you Dale

Unfortunately, this web site doesn't give me access to email addresses.  It limits me to the actual mailing that I'm currently working with.  I'll try to resend to her to see if she responds.

Generally, the safe cabinet company was manufacturing "office equipment" - it was designed to fit in with the filing cabinets, so they weren't usually "decorated".  May be some pinstriping, and the name of the company.  Colors were usually black, olive green or  brown.  That's it, nothing special.
