Antique Safes/S & G safe lock

Question
Andy thank you for your quick response.  If you have a copy of "Safe Man's Guide Volume 3" by Locksmith  Ledger you can see a diagram of my lock on page 2.  It is a three wheel lock and the parts I am missing are "A" and "C".  I could probably get the parts made if I had diagrams of them.  If you have another lock like this one let me know how much it would be if you wanted to sell it.  If you have any other ideas of how to fix this lock or what company I could check with for parts let me know.  Once again thank you for your help and time, this is a great service.  Ray

Answer
Ray,

The parts "A" and "C" that you are refering to are the "roller bolt assembly", while these are individual items, they are assembled as a part.

As I mentioned in our earlier session, I do have a couple of these locks, but not individual parts.

I do have a diagram and better photos, including photos of a roller bolt assembly which was fabricated at home by someone doing a similar project as yours.

Send an email to me at:  andy@securitysafeusa.com

Requesting the S&G 6810 Roller bolt photos, as I'm not going to remember this by Monday.  It may take me several days to locate the fabrication photos, as I have about 10,000 photos to go through to find them - I organize them by safe manufacturer, NOT lock manufacturer.

If you have any welding and/or brazing skills you should be able to fabricate the roller bolt with no problems, though it may be a little rough.

I'll look at the lock that I have and come up with a price for them.  I'll also come up with a price for me to fabricate the piece for you.  Just don't count on it happening overnight as I have a number of other projects I'm working on that I don't have time for either.  you know how that goes!   :)
