Antique Safes/Isham Safe Deposit Lock

I have a safe deposit with 25 locks. The name "Isham Lock Co-Boston" is on the keys.  12 I have keys for, 12 I do not and 1 is missing. Any advice on how to get into the 12 I don't have a key for? any chance some type of replacement is available? Any advice appreciated.

as these locks are no longer available, you WILL want someone that can open the boxes without damaging them or the locks.   It may be necessary to drill the doors to open the locks, but this should only be a very small 1/8" hole, which is repairable.   Keys can be made after they are open.

As far as finding a replacement lock - I would recommend that you check with "Underwoods Safe & Vault"    This company specializes in this type of locks, and having some of the hardest to find.   Again, no guarantees that they will have replacements.

I recommend that you use a local safe company that has experience in safe deposit locks, especially to open them WITHOUT destroying them.   Doesn't do you any good to have them ruined.

Sorry I don't know any one in your area that I would recommend - the nearest companies that I would recommend are in Massachusettes.

Start with Underwoods to see what your options are for replacements, and go from there.
